We at Spark know that staff who believe in what they do are by far the best educators. This is why we view our staff as our key investors in our Spark project, meaning we make a big effort to guide and nurture them to provide the best quality of education and support to our students possible. Choosing Spark is a guarantee that you will encounter staff who not only care about what they do but also genuinely care about YOU.
These are our key staff members who work at Spark. Find out more about them by clicking on their name.
Nicolás Argentato is one of our Spark Spanish teachers, residence responsibles and involved in the social and cultural events activity coordinator.
The lovely Lucia is one of our Spanish teachers and she is the social events coordinator who plans all the social and cultural events and helps out in the office, attends parents and children of the English academy. She also lives at the Spark residence and is there to help all time, especially with practicing your Spanish!
Salih is one of the Administration Responsibles and deals with a lot of the bookings here at Spark. You would have probably spoken to Salih at least once before you arrived at Spark. He is also very good at playing the guitar and doing the famous MJ moonwalk.
Adam is our English Coordinator, one of our English teachers and also deals with sales for the Spanish department. And yes, if you were wondering, he still has time for a social life, just.
Charlotte is involved in the marketing & website development for Spark Spanish and she is also an English teacher for Spark. She is a swimming fanatic and probably one of the most excitable people you will meet.
Ceci is also one of our Spanish teachers at Spark, but also runs and coordinates Sparks School Group programmes, teaching the groups Spanish and taking them on excursions in and around El Puerto de Santa Maria.
Iris is the Spark cleaner who is responsible for the cleaning of the communal areas of the residence. She is originally from Panama, but she has lived in El Puerto for quite a few years now!
All of our teachers are fully qualified in teaching Spanish and all have experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. We especially select our teachers not only on their qualifications and experience, but even more so for their desire to run dynamic and innovative classes that inspire our learners to achieve and follow up on their own learning both inside and outside the classroom. In this way we hope that our students are encouraged to ‘burst their bubbles’ together with their teachers and to open up more and more avenues and experiences to their Spanish learning.
At our Spark accommodation we furthermore have a cultural coordinator who is assigned to organize and lead the cultural & nightly activities. Their primary goal is to help our students to adapt to their new experience and help them in their learning. Usually this coordinator is also one of our Spanish teachers and residence responsibles. They are furthermore involved with creating an open and positive atmosphere in the Spark building and will be in charge of encouraging everyone to speak as much Spanish as possible outside the classrooms.
